The high performance slide plates supplied by Horton show the feature of lower percentage of carbon content, which will avoid the working surface of slide plates from being greatly roughened. So they are more suitable to both low-carbon and super-low-carbon steel grades. And also it provides much higher fired strength which will reduce the bore-enlarging as small as possible while sliding repeatedly.
